The exact star date on which Penny began her voyage into the limitless galaxy of hair colors and coiffures is unknown; she only knew this was no passing phase. She knew good hair is transformative, and helps people feel like their best selves - if you get the tricky details right. Now as the co-owner and creative director of her own haus, Penny has assembled a strong team able to fully execute her vision of hair architecture. As a former musician and theater performer, she continues to take inspiration from music and film. She enjoys the peculiar as well as the trend, and always works to interpret and deliver her clients desired style. Her proficiency in colors span the entire spectrum, from earthy naturals to vivid intergalactic rainbow disco hues.

Ashley Vaughan

Ashley has been a licensed hairstylist since 2008. After moving to Austin in 2010 she began working at a barbershop for five years mastering men’s grooming. She managed their Hyde Park barbershop location for three years before moving to Eastside salon to pursue her hair color passion. From there she traveled attending hair shows and classes to master the art of blonding, corrective color and fashion color. Ashley is always on trend while expressing her own creative style. She truly thrives helping clients reach their rainbow realness hair dreams. Her next goal was met after opening Vibe collective in 2017. This is a long time dream of hers and she takes great pride surrounding herself with like-minded creative women. When Ashley is not in her rainbow hair Vortex she is spending time with her loved ones, enjoying the latest cinema and loving on her three furbabies.

Lizz Holt
Stylist
Lizz has been a licensed hair professional since 2010. Her love of style and desire for knowledge is what lead her to a job in the beauty industry. She believes that style is a very important tool and it is her passion to make people feel empowered through their personal style. She enjoys blended color, blondes, brunettes and vivid hair. In her free time she spends time with her family and listens to podcasts.

Jamie Rivera
Stylist
Since 2008, Jamie has been turning her life-long passion for fashion, art, and individuality into a strong and successful career in Austin, TX. Inspired by the endless possibilities of color and style, she has perfected the French art of Balayage and has brought her trend-setting sense to all walks of life. When behind the chair, she values developing client relationships based on trust and confidence, aiming to identify a mutual vision. Her attention to detail and ability to create a unique look that complements each client’s individuality is what continues to motivate her each day. Beyond color, Jamie is an accomplished stylist. Not only is she Beauty coach certified, she was featured in ELLE magazine as a proclaimed “Hair Raiser” of 2016 - She has also styled hair for major NYFW designer’s such as Jason Wu, Altuzarra, and Suno.

Crystal Espinosa
Stylist
Crystal graduated from Toni and Guy Academy, Dallas, in 2006 with a specialization in color. She was a salon educator for two years at Toni and Guy. After later working as a freelance stylist she found her way to Vibe Collective shortly after they opened in 2017. She played an instrumental role in managing the salon in the first year of opening. She trained to become a Kevin.Murphy Session Salon Stylist and worked backstage with a Kevin.Murphy team in 2019. She attends classes as often as possible to learn new techniques and stay on trend. Crystal’s passion for styling and braiding truly shine while also specializing in balayage, highlighting and vivid hair color. When Crystal is not behind the chair you can find her listening to pop music, going to concerts, and traveling- Especially to any place she can see and scream along with her very favorite pop singer, P!nk!
